The rules that govern the library are there to ensure the safety of the collection, equal access for all users and unity of information.  The following are the general guidelines that govern the Naparima Girls' High School Library.

1. ALL SCHOOL RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED IN THE LIBRARY

2. No cell phones may be used in the Library during the school day.

3. No musical devices with or without headphones may be used in the Library during the school day.

4. Bags, Files or Binders are not allowed in teh library

5. Be considerate of others who are working

6.  Use a quiet voice

7. No food or drinks ar allowed in the Library

8. Remember to sign the computer log book before using the computers

9. The Library is the place to read, research, study or find a book.  It is not to be used as a social gathering place

10. No student is allowed in the Multi-Media Unit unless a member of Staff is present

11. Only fourth (4th), fifth (5th), and sixth (6th) form students with scheduled frees are allowed in the library during class time

12. No musical devices with or without 

13. Documents can be printed in the library at a cost of $1.00 per sheet for a single page and $1.50 for a double sided

14. Books borrowed must be returned by the due date, after which the student would be subject to fines (see Overnight Loans).

15. Lost or damaged books must be replaced or repaired after consultation with the Librarian.
