PHOTOCOPYING GUIDELINES
The following are the rules that govern the use of the photocopying machine at the Naparima Girls' High School Library

Students are allowed to photocopy between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00pm.

Only ONE person is allowed to photocopy at a time. All other students are asked to SIT and wait their turn without disturbing others who are studying in the Library.

Be sure to REMOVE ALL paperclips, staples and other metal attachments beofre photocopying documents. Staples are to be disposed of in the container provided, not on the floor or machine.

Be sure that liquid paper has copletely dried before copying documents.

DO NOT FEED FILE PAGES, PAPERS WITH BENT EDGES OR HOLES AT THE TOP OF THE MACHINE - THESE CAUSE PAPER JAMS.

There is to be NO photocopying of entire books as this is against the copyright regulations. The copyright law states that individuals are allowed to copy only 10% of print materials. In addition to this patrons are only allowed to copy Library materials.

BINDING SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED FROM BOUND LIBRARY DOCUMENTS BEFORE BEING COPIED

PAST PAPERS THAT HAVE BEEN COPIED ARE TO BE RETURNED TO THEIR CORRECT FILE AND PUT IN THE CORRECT ORDER IN WHICH THEY WERE ORIGINALLY

Form six students are reminded that they can photocopy during their free periods. Preference is given to lower school students who can ONLY photocopy during recess, lunch or after school.

The cost of a photocopy is 25c per page

Ask Library Staff for assistance if you are not sure of the copying process or have problems with the machine.

ANY PATRON DISOBEYING INSTRUCTIONS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE PHOTOCOPYING
