PREFECT SYSTEM
The Library Prefect System provides students with opportunities to enhance their organizaitonal and managmeent skills, to learn loyalty, reponsibility, and to develop themselves as future leaders. This system falls under System E of the School's Prefect System and consists of:
*One Head of Library System (Librarian)
*One Head Library Prefect
*One Deputy Head Library Prefect
*Ten Senior Library Prefects (Upper Six Students)
*Ten Assistant Library Prefects (Form Five Students)
Within this system, prefects are assigned to specific duties and responsibilites that allow them to interact with both staff and students, both in and out of the Library.
In the school term 2005/2006, the Form Fours joined the Library team as Assistant Prefects. Their role is necessary since the Form Five and Six students leave anually in April/May to sit their relevant examinations.
